Stuart Carr Soloist Hire From £345
My first job in the music business was with Arnold, Martin & Morrow (who wrote songs for Elvis, Billy Fury & Barry Manilow) as a plugger & songwriter as they liked my demos I presented them.
At the age of 18yrs Stuart had his 1st release & hit in Quebec & France with `Soleil Qui Danse` by Julie Arel music written by himself & lyrics by a famous French lyricist called Eddie Marnay.
He then worked for with David Walker, Phil Wainman & John Goodison (who wrote & produced Mud, Sweet, & Bay City Rollers)
plugging songs, writing songs & general duties at their production/management company.
After this period Stuart worked as a freelance writer & producer with Keith Bonsor a hit producer
& had several songs released.
Artists: Angie Gold, Diane Solomon, Mike Kelly, Paul Squires (own show on BBC1), Valentine, Hooker, World Cup football song & the Pinkees who got to no 8 in the charts.
He then became an inhouse writer/producer for Rollover Studios a top London hit Studio & recorded many artists i.e. Mig Ayasa - lead in West End Show- We Will Rock You. Had hit in Holland titled ‘Could This Really Happen’ by Mike Peterson.
Stuart, stage name now Stuart Carr, had his 1st single released titled ‘Silence Says It All’ as solo artist & received airplay all around UK including playlist BBC Radio Wales & on Aled Jones BBC Radio 2 Sunday show. Did many radio interviews including BBC Essex Radio.
